Troubleshooting Guide

🔇 No sound enhancement / Extension not working

  1. Refresh the YouTube page (Ctrl/Cmd + R)
  2. Make sure the extension is enabled (not paused)
  3. Check if the boost slider is above 100%
  4. Try disabling and re-enabling the extension
  5. Clear browser cache and cookies for YouTube

🎵 Audio sounds distorted

  1. Lower the boost level - try 200-300% instead of maximum
  2. Reset the equalizer to flat (0dB on all bands)
  3. Check your system volume isn't also at maximum
  4. Try a different preset that matches your content type

⚡ Extension icon not appearing

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar
  2. Find SonicBoost Elite and click the pin icon
  3. If not listed, check chrome://extensions/ to ensure it's installed
  4. Make sure the extension is enabled

💾 Settings not saving

  1. Check if browser is in incognito/private mode

Usage Guide

Getting Started

1. Install the Extension

Add SonicBoost Elite from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar for easy access.

2. Open YouTube

Navigate to any YouTube video. The extension automatically activates on YouTube pages.

3. Click the Icon

Click the SonicBoost Elite icon in your toolbar to open the control panel.

4. Adjust Settings

Use the boost slider, equalizer, and presets to enhance your audio.

Basic Controls
